Rules for our 2008 greeting card art contest
Send us your art!

Entries must be post marked by March 10, 2008 in order to be considered for this round

Welcome to our 2008 greeting card art contest!

We started our business because we wanted to spend our days interacting with other human beings who shared our love and commitment to animals and to animal welfare. In this respect our business has quickly become a huge success. Not a day goes by that we don't find ourselves listening in awe to a customer who has helped to rescue or rehabilitate or otherwise help an animal in need. Many of our customers head up households filled with pets rescued from inhumane conditions or from shelters that are too often overcrowded and underfunded. It is to their credit that these people who willingly take on so much heartbreak are able to find the joy in their experiences and express them to us over and over again. In these expressions of joy in helping others more vulnerable, we have found ourselves renewed in spirit and faith in humanity and we are very grateful.

We regularly receive phone calls from animal loving rubber stampers from all across the country and emails from all over the planet. We also receive greeting cards from them, many of these cards are created with our own rubber stamps. These lovely creations cover most all of the walls in our office and workshop now and have been the source of much wonder and conversation about the creative genius of our friends and customers. We have enjoyed your art so much that we'd like to share it with the world. So, please send us your art!

To enter, you must send us your hand-stamped original art work in greeting card format (postcards, multi-folds, circular or other shaped cards, etc. are all considered greeting cards). Loved the creative use of our stamps; here our sea urchin doubles as grass scattered in the foreground. Coloring on this stamp was done with markers and just looks luminous on glossy cardstock.
