About RubberHedgehog

Our company has been producing rubber stamps for the arts and crafts industry since 2001. We make all of our rubber stamps in our Williamsburg, Ohio workshop. Our artists are mostly friends and fellow animal lovers. We use only the best quality Michigan hardwood and vulcanized rubber to craft our stamps.
Our index is inked right on the wood - no stickers to curl up or peel off. Our deeply etched, red rubber stamps are made from 11 pt (.153) engravings. And, our rubber is trimmed carefully and closely around the image.
Our crew of skilled stamp makers takes pride in creating a high quality product. They select the best hardwood mounts, sand down any rough edges, trim out the rubber die neatly and assemble each stamp with care. Every stamp is checked over carefully before your order ships.
If you have other questions about our products, please see our FAQ.

What is a RubberHedgehog?

The original RubberHedgehog was an african pygmy hedgehog named Koosh. She was playful, sweet, and beautiful. In December of 1999, Koosh was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. She had radical surgery, then a four week round of radiation treatment. Unfortunately, her cancer came back and we eventually lost her to it. Before she became sick, she had given us a litter of 4 little hedgehogs. Three of them have since died of the same cancer. Two of her grandchildren survive. One of them is Xena, the hedgehog shown on this page. We've named our business in Koosh's memory.

We Are A Pro-Animal Business

We absolutely delight in hearing from our customers who love animals as much as we do, so if you are inclined, please email and tell us about your pets. We are always happy to hear about your furred, finned, feathered, and reptilian friends.
We also support pro-animal charities.
